Superior and toka plum grafts on santa rosa plum

When prunning in August I accidently cut a branch that had Yakima on it. The only place I had to graft it was on the Santa Rosa so an hour later it was grafted on the Santa Rosa. The following spring it was alive and has had vigorous growth.

That’s good to know about Toka. I grafted several this spring as crosspollinators for my American and Asian plums that have flowered but not yet setting fruit
