Tags that lasts forever costs almost nothing

The M1011 is easy to load and use though it crimps the SS tape a bit on the sides. I’ll have to play with the tensioner.

Love the cut tool and curve as well as the clean hole punch!

See, I need to praise it to justify a rather expensive purchase…

I kind of wish I bought that one, but can’t justify buying a second for the relatively small number of tags I make going forward. Cutting and hole punching isn’t worth another $200 to me, however I do kind of wish I bought it to begin with, looks awesome.

Hard not to use a new toy.

Considering the title of this thread, the cost of these fancy crimpers are straying away from the original intent… :grinning:

They are expensive. Yes, you have to decide where you want to land on the tradeoff curve between well defined emboss and crinkled instead of flat. I prefer legibility and that is a reminder for to adjust mine. My Ls and Ds aren’t defined on the vertical portion.

That looks really well defined, maybe it can tolerate backing off a hair.

I’m more than happy with it. The money is spent so it’s all good.

I backed off a bit on the spring tensioner and don’t crimp as hard. Love the rounded ends and very clean hole.

Not quite like decorating the xmas tree, but it was kind of fun tying them.

Hey @Shibumi can you make me some tags with your new toy? need another Reine de Reinettes… and an American Summer Pearmain, and a few Clark’s Crabapples… oh, and a Beierschmitt Pear. I just can’t stay with the short named varieties. :cowboy_hat_face:
