Great! It has a nice honey/caramel flavor. And it did very well in a container, producing at least one and sometimes two figs at every node. I think this one will be a keeper for me.

Those both look good. I’m out of town at my cottage and so picked a Bass Favorite fig even though it’s about five days from being ripe. I’m gone for 9 days so I decided to harvest one of four on this small plant. Even though quite green the pulp was blood red. That was really surprising how the heck red is it when ripe? It had an acidic taste. Yet another surprise. Hopefully when I get home the remaining figs will be just right to harvest.

One of the last figs of this season, picked and eaten yesterday (Nov 9). It’s a Panache Tiger.
