Every year my container peppers and tomatoes handle 32F without a problem. Last year I didn’t bring them inside until 30-31F and they were ok, maybe a little leaf burning. I don’t worry about them if the night lows are forecast to be 35F…but the saving grace here is that the days are usually much warmer.
