Too late to graft?

i just found 4 scions of pear i forgot about in my fridge. my recently planted harrow crisp pear is behind the curve and is just starting to leaf out 2 weeks later than everything else. can i still graft to it? supposed to get in the mid to upper 80’s the next couple days but then rain for 3-4 days. should i wait until the rain moves it to do it? I’ve never attempted grafting this late. scions are still perfectly dormant.

Go ahead and graft them asap. 80s are perfect and the moisture will help. Wrap them good in parafilm. If it gets real hot in the next two weeks put a small square of tenfoil folded over the graft as a hat. You have nothing to lose. Late season grafting experiments only. Using green wood cuttings, Plastilina, tbuds, chips, and other methods
