Im heartbroken my favorite Mulberry tree cut down. Will the stump grow suckers?

Last summer I found an absolutely amazing delicious Mulberry tree. It’s the best Mulberry tree I’ve found. It the number one tree in the thread below from last summer hunting for special Mulberry trees. I went to collect scions today and the tree was gone only a stump left. The stump is cut to ground level branches all gone. I talked to the land owner and they are going to allow suckers to grow from the stump this summer for me to collect. Will the stump grow suckers?
