It wasn’t as crisp as a Fuji or HC, but it was definitely crisp. I sliced it up to share with my family. It tasted delicious, and my wife exclaimed so after she took a bite. My daughter wanted multiple slices.

Hey man - I tried a VA Beauty from Berrier Farms in Cana, VA this year and they’re delicious in my opinion. The apple originated in Carroll county just 20 mins away from Berrier Farms. It is a beautiful looking apple and I would describe the taste as well balanced sweet/tart and juicy. I’m sure it excels here bc this is where it’s from. I think its def worth growing and I have one on M111 and G11 in my orchard and it’s one of the most prolific growers I have out of 40+ varieties. Again, it may just love growing where it came from  I don’t spray my trees so if I can get a good apple without the work it’s a perfect apple for me!
