Those look pretty good Mike. That’s a long the lines of what I was after. Don’t know exactly what I want but what those can do is part of what I need. Psylla, blister mites etc. will only get worse and I need to get better at combatting pear pests. Need to look into those some more and figure out which one would work best for me.
Pay attention to resolution. Megapixel vs. HD.
1080 HD is only 2 megapixel. Some of these are only 480x 640 (yuk!!!)
Also I am not greatly impressed by 500x magnification.
Look at the specs of these microscope/cameras. Some go as high as 5 MP. I think I would rather have higher megapixel instead of higher magnification. I don’t think we would need 500 x magnification for the orchard pests. I think 200x is the max that we would need.
200x at 5 MP is better than 500x at 2MP. And, a higher resolution image cam be blown up with less detail loss than a low resolution image.
