Interesting. Maker’s Mark Distillery puts wheat in their bourbon,
and has a bunch of test plots trying old varieties and custom hybrids.

Ground and using more of that wheat!
Tostadas, (nothing fancy as me and my brother are batching it as our parents are out of state):
And I used it for the crust of this pumpkin pie(actually its Queensland Blue Keeper winter squash[very rich flavor!])

Fresh wheat does have more flavor for sure.
It can be more coarse(depending the grinder you use), mine has multiple settings i like to grind some coarse for Cream of Wheat, very flavorful!(i add lots of butter so i need a Jersey!)
