I do this every late fall before real cold temps are in the forecast, 15 day forecast. Potted trees are only defoliated before a Artic freeze in the short forecast. They might go back outside. 22* degrees they stay in the garage. This year young tree’s go in the Greenroom till February, than in the garage. I will keep feeding them, just Osmocote plus. Kleen leaves from my inground tree’s also, usely first part of October, the ones in the background in this picture.(2019), last year picture.
Do not want to get caught by another Artic freeze early in the fall.
