Being too wet constantly may be a factor in some winter losses.
One of mine has green stems with tips dead, other may or may not make it as above ground wood looks bad.
It’s been a nice winter…lilacs and oregon grape holly have no bloom damage at this point…real rarities. And I saw a Bradford pear about to bloom near Lake Cumberland on Wednesday.
