When you "slip" the bark, where is the cambium layer?

No,not at all. I was just commenting on the tabs across the top of the screen. Sometimes they can be embarrassing or lead to problems.

You bet, I think we’ve all been there.

You must be correct. Since the cambium is providing new cells to both the phloem and the sapwood there is bound to be some lack of definition at that point.
