I just got Ian and Gabe from them at the fall festival today. They actually had 1 variety in 3 gal pots 40% off, but I didn’t have room in my car :sob:

They propagate quite easily with cuttings, I got a few red ones rooted in the Spring and just started some white Ian cuttings a month ago. I also tried my hand with grafting last year and grafted a white branch on my red nanking, mostly for cross pollination. I also find it interesting the flowers are different between the red and white varieties.

Are the red flowers on the red ones?

I’ve managed to aquire Ian, Gabe, and Jules. They were my first stone fruit to flower this year sadly way before my last frost! All three were loaded with blossoms!

Yes, the pinkish ones are on the red nanking.

I grow white Nanking cherries. Yes, they are sweet and I haven’t had much problem with then. They do need a pollenizer that is different so another variety of white or a red can work.
