I tried it, it seems to reject everything, and it’s very suckering so it’s really not worth it, I grafted Mirabelle plum to prunus Padus and it did great for a while, then the whole thing died, maybe it was the lots of energy of being cut down after leaf out and it didn’t collect enough sugar to survive the winter, I don’t know.
But prunus Padus is another good option. And Mirabelle also worked on Serotina for a couple of seasons, but didn’t make it on one tree, in need to try again.
