Yaupon for cold climates?

Sorry, just saw this! Yes, I got Hoskin’s Shadow unprotected in the ground in SE PA, zone 6b-8a depending on the year. It’s been doing great for the past 5 years out here, but we haven’t had a true test winter in that time yet so hard to say with 100% confidence. Even still, my bush hasn’t had any dieback or frost damage. Will Fleming bit the dust after one winter in a plot in zone 6a, but that may also have been a drought issue. Haven’t tested any other cultivars yet, but if someone has had good experiences with another up north I’d love to know.
