Speaking of paprika, I have been growing Leutshchauer (loit Shower) in a 5 gallon bucket the past two years, indoors at a south facing window. It makes a few peppers all the time & I love 'em. Definitely paprika with a light heat - 500 Scoville? Easy to dry & break small or crush.
I’m thinking of buying some pepper seeds from Burpee. The Yummy pepper, with its apple sweet description, has tempted me. I’m looking at First Taste (this might be too similar with Yummy), Sweet Thing, and two hybrids: Big Guy Jalapeño and Big Boss Man Poblano. Has anyone grown any of these? I’m growing a ton of other peppers, but these seem like a good addition. I’ve also never grown hybrids before; I chose those hybrids because the heirloom jalapeño and poblano I grow are on the smaller side—great flavor just small.
