Z4 hardy improved Chinese chestnut cultivars

I can help with seed or seedlings(I have a bunch started from last year) from the trees I collected seed from in Bridgton ME. These trees also drop pretty early compared to others I visit and collect from

About 5 years ago I planted about 50 chestnut seeds from Empire Chestnuts. Of those seeds I have 6 Chestnuts today that can grow here. I have planted a few seedlings from Oikos, Chief River, and ones my dad gathered in Illinois. Currently I have 10 chestnuts still surviving. The six from Empire are Colossal seedlings. In have 3 pure American that I planted this year, to replace 3 I lost to frost 4 years ago. I have learned to plant chestnuts close to the woods to prevent death from frost. The leader of the pack is a seed my dad collected from an unknown species in a yard in Illinois. It is by far the most vigorous I have. Here it is emerging from a 5’ tree tube.
