Those look quite a bit like what grows on my prickly ash. I’ll try to remember to grab a few sometime and take a pic

I successfully germinated those pepper seeds. The same cold treatment in refrigerator. Then planted them in pot in spring. I may have a few to share when they grow bigger in the fall.

Those fresh peppers smell really good.

The leaves are also used in Japanese cuisine. They are called ki-no-me.

Second year. Could have been larger if planted in ground. But deer will get it first…
