Fruit grower in Niagara, Ontario zone 7b with apples, cherries, pears, plums fruiting, and apricots, persimmons, pawpaw, haskap, and figs in the ground growing. Experimenting with apple and pear breeding with emphasis on red flesh, unique flavour, and other interesting qualities along with disease resistance.

One of my longterm projects is “The Goblin Apple:” a red fleshed knobby russet. Hoping to acquire a knobby scion to graft this year. Have Rubaiyat and Grenadine growing in the orchard as potential breeding contenders.

Also want to do red fleshed version of all classic apples we have growing on our orchards!
