Brethil
I'm a neurosurgical/surgical ICU RN by trade. Hobbies include birding, Tolkien, shooting, fishing. Oh, and digging holes, don't forget that.
Long time ornamental and wildlife gardener, zone 6b/7a, Long Island, NY. I've experimented with fruits and veggies for many years but only in the last 3 have I become really focused on what my small yard can produce, especially things I can share with my hubby, son and friends.
GROWING:
Apples: N. Spy (I think). Columnar apples (2 types, 6 trees).
Peaches: Blazingstar, Mystery Mislabel (Elberta?) and an heirloom seedling peach whose mamma peach tree I know to be one tough cookie, and is a late season high acid yellow cling.
Asian Pear: 20th Century
Figs: BT and home-bred-by-my-BFF's-mom-purple
Mulberry: Russian?
Raspberry: Crimson Night, Caroline, Double Gold, Kiwi Gold, Jewel
Blueberry: Patriot, unnamed vacc., NorthBlue, NorthLand, NorthCountry, and maybe Bountiful Blue? (mislabel! 'which of these things is not like the others...!')
Cranberry: Stevens
Blackberry: Arapaho and Navaho
Cherry: Carmine Jewel
Grapes: Tickled Pink, Pink Reliance and possible Thompson's Seedless. (Add it to my list of Unknowns.)
Strawberries: neglected, underfoot and wandering.
Lots of veggies.
WANT to make fit:
Sansa apple. Maybe Pristine too.
Plum. Cannot decide.... Bug issues here are so bad.
Cherry on G3? More indecision.
May try Anne raspberry again some time.
Stay tuned.
