I’m a Massachusetts-based, community-minded gardener. I am new(ish) to having an actual yard. I love the idea of edible landscaping that creates community - fruit and herbs to share with neighbors, and bonding over gardening - and a vibrant ecosystem. She/her.
Current fruit trees and bushes:
- 4 apples (2 multi-graft trees: 1 a mystery, the other espalier with Cortland - Honeycrisp - Fuji - Gala - Gravenstein - Golden Delicious. A Granny Smith, and a Honeycrisp)
- 2 pears (both espalier multi-graft: Anjou, Bartlett, Comice, Summercrisp, and Flemish Beauty)
- 2 sweet cherry (multi-graft tree, Royal Crimson)
- 4 honeyberries (Aurora, Honey Bee, Beauty, Indigo Treat)
- 1 pawpaw remaining out of 4 planted (Allegheny, KSU-Atwood, KSU-Benson, Tallahatchie)
- 4 jostaberry bushes (a currant / gooseberry cross)
- 12 or so Blueberries (3 Chandler, 2 Bluecrop, 2 Huron, 2 Chippewa 1 Liberty, 1 native lowbush, and I’ve lost track of the others)
- 2 black currants (Titania, pine blight resistant)
- 1 saskatoon / serviceberry that didn’t make it (unnamed)
- 1 haskap that didn’t make it (Solo Yezberry)strong text
