I live in the centre of Norway, deep in the Orkdal Fjord. Although it’s right by the sea, spring comes later than it does on the coast. At the same time there’s the humidity that comes from being close to the sea, as well as midnight sun during summer and very little sun during winter. As a few examples I grow arctic bramble, cherries, plums, sea buckthorn, apples, grapes, blue honeysuckle, and various currants.
