I’m an experienced gardener, but a baby orchardist.

Our successes so far include mature, recently top-worked apple trees, honeyberries, cane berries, a tart cherry, and alpine strawberries (why doesn’t everyone grow these? They are amazing!)

Current experiments include peaches, apricots, pawpaws, and jujubes.

When that’s under control, I’d like to someday also try elderberry, aronia, and currants.

I hate the trend nowadays for overly sweet, insipid fruit. I like it TART!
