Hey everyone. I’m a permaculturist based out of Southern Alabama. I spent 15 years cutting my teeth growing an orchard in the desert heat of Phoenix, Arizona, before bringing those skills to the Southeast.

My current focus is low-disturbance regenerative gardening. I’m strictly no-till, utilize heavy surface mulching. In my spare time, I use a 10-inch auger to vertically bury logs for a sunken hugelkultur setup that leaves the surrounding soil food web intact. My main amendment of choice is homemade biochar-charged compost.

To keep myself from running out of room, I mostly collect hard-to-find plants. Looking forward to connecting with other collectors and soil nerds.
