I am a third generation fruit farmer at Augernik Fruit Farm in South Shropshire, England. I grow soft and top fruit and nuts, organically on my 25 acre. We moved here in 1989 and it was two empty fields when we arrived. It is now fully planted. It is on a West facing slope going from 400 to 800ft on a horseshoe valley 1 mile south. This gives me a microclimate similar to central France but open to Northerly and frosts
