Hi there! My name is Daniel, but everyone calls me Danny. I am 26 years old, Hispanic, and live in the Rio Grande Valley in Deep South Texas. I have had a love for plants, gardening, and butterflies from the time I could walk and talk. I have a one-acre food forest and grow everything from natives for local pollinators and wildlife, tropical fruit trees, “northern”/deciduous fruit trees, berries, herbs, and more. I am always looking to expand the food forest with other edible plants, especially those that double as host plants for butterflies. I am a huge believer in never giving up, and I am willing to find/create any microclimate necessary (along with adding micorrhizae) to get these fruit to survive as perennials. I look forward to making new friends, learning more, sharing what I know, and trading with everyone.

-Aocados, Mangos, Starfruit, White Sapote, Pringlei Sapote, Black Sapote, Miracle Fruit, Coconut Palm, Barbados/Acerola Cherry (RGV native and more tropical varieties), Custard Apple, Sugar Apple, Rollinia, Atemoya, Soursop, Passiflora (several varieties including edulis, quadrangularis, maliformis, and several others), “Mexican” Plum (Spondias), Mamey Sapote (P. sapota), Mamey (Mammea americana), Jaboticaba, Canistel, Caimito, DragonFruit, Pitaya, etc.
