I live in North Carolina, close to the South Carolina border. It is Zone 8a. My husband and I live on a few acres of what once was my Great-Grandfather’s cotton farm. After I retired from the USPS I took over the care of the fruit trees. We currently have about 18 apple trees, three pear trees and four peach trees. Some of the trees are Red June, Royal Limbertwig, Kinnaird’s Choice, William’s Favorite, Redfree, Goldrush, Bevan’s Favorite, Yellow June, Freedom, Macfree and my new favorite, Joseph.
