I’m a country living wife and mom. We planted an orchard Jan of 2012 and then grafted a few young apple trees over in 2014. That was so neat, I’m afraid I’m rather hooked.
I am now growing about 53 different apple varieties, thanks to lots of scion swaps with other fruit loving folks.
We also have peaches, plums, apricots, pecans, cherries and pears.
Our orchard produces well when the frosts dont hurt the crop. We are enjoying applesauce, canned peaches, peach jam, and this year (2023) we are using a press and canning juice.

In 2022 we grafted people into our family. Less conventional but Biblically sound. Now we have a new little girl in the family, and a grandson and another grandbaby on the way!
