I’m from Taiwan, a subtropical political entity. I work as a lab/field assistant in a fruit breeding lab, where our research focuses on persimmons, grapes, and peaches. We’re exploring the challenges of fruit production in subtropical countries under global warming. I’m hoping to approach fruit breeding here from the perspective of an amateur enthusiast, and I’ve already seen so many interesting things!
Although I do like fruits, it’s ultimately just a job for me. My true passion lies in succulents—I’ve already bred four of my own hybrid cactus varieties.
