Excited to learn about growing backyard fruit, but still don’t have much production yet, and have a lot to learn! ![]()
Trying to grow in-ground, containers, and other non-traditional ways.
Here’s what I’m trying to fruit:
Apples - old apple with a lot of grafts, adding some cordons and Crunch-A-Bunch
Apricots - Zard and Hoyt Montrose for 2024
Cherries - Montmorency and White Gold
Figs - Chicago Hardy, Desert King, Kadota, LSU O’Rourke, VdB
Peaches - Contender, Red Haven, El Dorado
Pears - Honey Drippin’, Harrow Sweet, Bartlett with grafts of Collette, Ubileen, Harrow Delight, Parker, Seckle
Plums - Superior, Toka, Empress, Mt Royal
