I live in Spokane Valley Washington, a few miles from the Idaho State line. Spokane is a transition zone between the central Washington desert and the Idaho foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We get about 20" of rain annually with almost nothing falling July through October. I have a small backyard orchard with the following trees:
