Hey all!
Our farm, Threefold Farm (https://threefold.farm), is hosting our first Fall Fruit Festival here at our farm in south central PA. We love growing fruit and are known for our unusual fruits (pawpaws, figs, and kiwi berries), though they’re likely not all that unusual to folks on this forum.
It’s on October 2, 2021, from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is free and we’ll have some free tours of our organic orchard that features the above-mentioned fruits along with jujubes and persimmons and climate battery greenhouses, as well as a talk by our apiarist.
We’ll have fruit for sale and unusual fruit sampling along with pawpaw ice cream. I’m making a play for fig ice cream (recipes welcome) along with a kiwi berry sorbet, but we’ll see if they make the cut. We’ll also have a BBQ food truck there with local BBQ and some local vendors.
