I have Korean Golden as a gift from my son sitting in a container ready to set out as soon as I get the ground prepared. I have Korla as a trade with Marta at reallygoodplants. I’m not really interested in the others as I already have about a dozen Asian pear varieties.
Like always, i’m speculating for now because i’m legitimately interested in pears beyond the scope of what you would imagine. Honey jar is definately of interest to me based on it’s description. I’m adding 300 rootstocks this year. I’m adding 30+ asian pears this year.
I contacted the nursery before i purchased and asked if it was a typo as in their description they refer to it as Shinko. They said no it was Shinglo. That they buy them from a propagator and they said that they are called Shinglo.
My guess is that they got them from Sky Nursery in WA.
Here is Clifford’s list of pears. I did not separate Asian from European.

Autumn Moon is in Clifford’s list just above. It is in the unidentified group meaning it does not match known varieties. I just placed a cross-reference showing the alternate name in the pear database. It is available from Santiam nursery and from hardtofindtrees, both at a high price.
Sometimes it is fun putting the names and varieties together from domestic sources vs ARS-Grin. For example, ARS-Grin has “Honey Vase” pear as a historic accession which no longer exists. Santiam Nursery sells “Honey Jar” which appears to be the same pear.
I have a Korean Golden pear tree from Santiam. It was purchased as a gift for me by my son a few months ago. The tree is a nice healthy plant currently in a container waiting to be planted when I get the ground ready for it.
I bought a potted Yulu from them last spring. It went from 18 inches to 7 feet tall in one growing season. No idea if its true to type yet. Hopefully it’ll set a few fruit this year.
