Nice…but I don’t see any deer damage…you keep a dog on the loose in the orchard?
I don’t have a dog or any sort of deterrent for the deer, starting in the fall I start spraying Liquid Defense Repellent all the way thru winter and into the spring for rabbits that have caused me lots of heartache. The guy that lives to the left of the orchard stated he’s seen a moose going thru the orchard once lol… I believe keeping the orchard grasses short helps with keeping deer at bay, just a hunch though.

Thanks, I’m pretty much in the orchard every weekend trying to make it happen. There is some fruit production that has started but it’s minimal as of yet, a few more years to go.
