That’s my plan the 2nd time around with plum trees. I had numerous plums and lost them all to back knot. I didn’t know what to look for and it got out of hand. Shiro and Santa Rosa may be less susceptible, as they were the last of the plums to go. But they were still covered with black knot at the end.

im surrounded by b.k on chokecherry but so far, knock on wood, it hasnt showed up in my stone fruit.
