What might be chewing my little seedlings off at ground level. They are in gallon pots and something has cut off 3 out of 12 so far. There doesn’t seem to be any marks or disturbances in the soil of the pots.
A rabbit would be my first guess if the stem is big enough or rollie-pollies If they are very small. I mention these 2 out of experience rather than anything else.

Thanks, The stems are very thin. What ever did it didn’t even eat the leaves they were just laying in the pot cut off. The pots are about 12 inches high. I might have to put them up on a bench which isn’t going to be easy. I have over 60 pots with other varieties of apples and peaches also some persimmons
