Copper is being phased out in Europe as an approved “organic” pesticide for this reason. I personally use copper only for dormant spray on bacterial spot. I used to use it on grapes but I think the synthetic sprays such as myclobutanil are overall relatively less harmful, and do more in one spray than half a dozen copper sprays.
