A facebook scam of the worst kind- spread the word - https://www.facebook.com/people/Sunny-Meadows-Farm/61576672762935/

I reported a business to chime who has perpetrated a fraudulent egg sales scam. I paid $37 a dozen for eggs x 2 dozen + shipping charges for a total of $94. Here is how the scam works. The business has a seemingly legitimate store front on facebook called Sunny Meadows Farm. https://www.facebook.com/people/Sunny-Meadows-Farm/61576672762935/. Once you pay the $94 by chime they send you a bill for $209 for shipping fees. Naturally since shipping charges were paid you wouldn’t pay $209. The perpetrators accounts are shown below for Facebook and chime. If anyone knows a great way to put these crooks out of business please do that.

I’m supposed to give a local sheriff’s deputy some eggs Monday. Maybe I should hatch a few to send you Clark. They are just Silver Laced Wyandottes that lay very large blue eggs. Maybe not as eclectic as Ayam Cemani’s, but I think they are kind of special.

Noting from the note copied in your post “We are glad we had you!” I think it is perhaps an unintentional double entendre.

FB is full of scammers anymore. Just set a partial hatch in a brooder. 6 BB Red{very tiny ones}, 2 Silkies, 3 Blue Slate Turkeys and 4 Naked neck/Astrolorp cross.

Got a full load that should go Mondayish incubating.

I read here or heard someplace you only buy from eBay or some such place that will stand behind the buyer. FB Marketplace is only good for in-person use. I sell lots of unneeded stuff I want to get rid of there. As soon as I list it there or on Craigslist, I get scammers wanting their brother or sister to pick up and they will pay remotely with something app I never heard of.

Tons of stuff on eBay…

Of course, the plants are generally twigs. I don’t do cuttings or birds. I’d like to do a dozen birds if I had the money to buy some land. But I still would not want to do cuttings. I like big trees to plant that are 6 - 8 feet+ tall…no time for twigs. You want fruit…stop fooling with twigs if possible.

I scrolled down through the last six days of their posts on their main page and that was one thing that I noticed. I do not have much time on Facebook so I don’t really know what it is normal, but there were other things I observed. First, it appears that they have every single type of rabbit I’ve ever never seen, as well as a couple that I have actually observed, so it looks like they have the market cornered on carrying every bunny in the world. Then I noticed the exact same thing with their cluckers. Every type of chicken I’ve never even heard of seems to be represented on their farm.

I questioned whether these were all AI generated images but I think that they are stealing and reusing images posted by other individuals elsewhere on the internet. The background, whether it is indoors or out, the interior and exterior design of the various buildings, the wide variety of trees and other greenery that isn’t the primary focus, it all points to me that someone is using the pictures of other individuals to perpetrate a hoodwink. Going through it a second time I am also struck by the varying seasonality of the backgrounds, snow in some and clearly green grass in full growth in others. Seeing all the seasons represented I’m hearing Carole King, “Winter, spring, summer or fall/All you have to do is call”.

Yes, if you search you can see they’ve stolen exact images and captions from various Instagram accounts. Unfortunately. Sorry, @clarkinks . Scammers are horrible people.

I had tried doing reverse image searches on several screenshots I took from their profile page but it seems that Google Lens was not as effective as your method at finding their source material. Would you be willing to share what you found to be effective?

Ha, I suspected that the pictures were being misappropriated. With many heads working together we can accomplish much!

@clarkinks, are there any avenues available to you for a reversal of the initial payment you sent through Chime?

His chime account I reported for fraud. That will cut off some revenue. BBB, fbi, etc might be able to help
