We have another day and a half of warmth before it cools off, and next weekend we’re supposed to have a polar vortex outbreak.

I know the feeling, i have two varieties that started to bloom right before the last polar vortex. Lost half the buds, but it turned around those two varieties are blooming now. 1 pear tree has begun blooming too, and we are going to drop below freezing Thursday night and Friday night.
Forecast low right now is 23 next Sunday. As long as we can stay at “calyx red“ I won’t worry a lot.
Ambient temps will be cold enough after tomorrow that they probably won’t advance much after that.

Yeah, weather report shows 73F in Frederick, feels like that here. We could get snow Wednesday night in the low 30s, just weather in Maryland.
Where did you find that picture grid? I’d like to keep that, and see more fruits.
