I’m loving my Arctic Frost. The sections come out clean, not a lot of that white material, easy peel. The taste is excellent. The fact that it is so cold hardy compared to others is a great reason to grow it inground in 9a.

There are 10 fruits in that cluster in my hand. Fruits are smaller size than some varieties which I don’t mind. Sometimes you don’t want to eat a whole big fruit at one time.

I had to take extreme measures to save it January 2025, frost cloth,heat lamp, Christmas lights, covered to the ground with a tarp. 9 inches of snow, 9 degree low temperature. Pulled through with small amount of limb tip die back. 20 year old fig tree in background badly damaged and did not resprout from the roots and later cut completely down.

Thanks, I have really enjoyed growing this tree, planted in 2021. I did not expect it to grow as well as it has. I have fertilized it by the LSU Citrus guide, sprayed for leafminers, white flies, aphids. I did grow it in a container for 2 years before putting it in the ground which I think helped it alot.
