Last winter had cold lows and late frost. I had too many containers. Kishu bit the dust as did Shiranui. Sugar belle took a beating but recovered extremely well. Sun dragon looked dead but recovered from 2 buds that survived. Miho was completely unfazed. Xie Shan with some damage but pulled through. Uga sweet frost cruised through it. My bloomsweet graft got burned but still OK.
Kabosu unfazed. Yuzu with tip burned.
I had an old Citrange that was in the front. Decided to top work it with yuzu, Gou Tou sour orange and Ichang lemon. Its way exposed so this will be a good experiment.

First go at germinating citrus, the triple seedling seeds caught me out a bit for cell space but I think I’ve managed.
All from the mulberries nursery bar a couple of Kabosu and Shikuwasa.

I’m in a northern English zone that purportedly matches zone 8a/b for climate but being so far north our growing season is quite short. We’re actually on a parallel latitude with Newfoundland and Labrador.
We’ll see what sticks anyway.
