I was trying to get surround wp and couldn’t find any on amazon for a good price ($55 plus $33 shipping). Are there any alternatives to surround such as other companies that produce the clay. Is there a reliable source that sells surround for cheaper than on amazon?
Probably not, you can speak to your most local farm supplier such as Ace, Tractor Supply, etc to see if they would begin to stock it for retail. That’s probably your best bet. I have used Surround WP for over 10 years now, but like you I don’t like the freight rates.

I bought mine a few years back from Seven Springs. The good thing is that a 25lb bag will last me a very long time.
I find going to the regular ag distributors for things like this gets a better deal than anything I can find on Amazon since they sell so much of it. It looks like the total with shipping to Arlington, VA would be $67 for me, so hopefully not a whole lot more for you in NJ.
If you need any other sprays or other things they have, I’d get them at the same time so you aren’t just paying to ship one thing.

I think there are some patents on Surround and nobody else is making it now that I know of.
I also buy mine from Seven Springs… they are an excellent place in general to order things from.
