Hello all! I’m pretty new to growing my own food but recently became heavily invested in researching and starting my own permaculture food forest.
I’ve been learning about all these amazing fruit like our native persimmon and paw paw trees but have struggled to find any examples in my area.
Does anyone have a collection of interesting fruit trees/plants and are willing to give a tour or explanation of what you’re growing?
I live in Tacoma, WA, and would love to find someone living in the area with knowledge and experience who is open to helping a young grower learn.

As far as persimmon and pawpaw, neither of those is native here, they are mostly native to the eastern half of the continent, but they do grow well enough here, too.
