A friend sent me jujube we both are not sure what they are. It could be the sour jujube rootstock or the own root local variety. The plant is about Sharpie at the base and thick pencil size in the middle. If it survives, it may fruit this year or next year.
The tree does have some thorns, though not very large.
I seem to recall that some named varieties have thorns on the branches. I’m just not so sure about this.
