Any nut trees that stay smaller and do well in a pot? Zone 8a

Hey folks. I have just about every fruit tree I’d want at this point. Time to branch out a bit! Are there any nut bushes/trees that would do well in a 30 gallon pot in zone 8a just East of Dallas? Appreciate any suggestions!

American hazelnut tree won’t grow large. And some almond.

Not sure anything else.

There’s an oak (acorn tree) that stays under 3 feet tall in California…I don’t recall it’s name right off.

Hazelnuts want to grow as a bush so they might be suitable for a very large pot. Female blossoms needs to overlap with the timing of pollen shed so you will need 2 compatible varieties. Check out:

I have many of these BR varieties growing in my zone 8 - and harvest hazelnuts from each. My zone has no summer heat, however.
