Curious to know if anyone is growing this and what the fruit is like? Is it acidless like pakistan mulberry or more similiar to a persian mulberry- sweet and tart. I’m getting conflicting information on whether or not this is self-fertile. Any information you have on this species would be much appreciated.

I’m not entirely sure which variety you’re referring to, but I assume you mean the tree with 3”+ long white fruits that’s commonly called ‘Australian Green’, ‘King White Shahtoot’, ‘White Pakistan’, or some variation/mashup of those names.
They are low acid berries some describe as having a melon flavor, & like every female mulberry I’ve come across they will produce fruit without pollination (but they won’t make seeds, so they aren’t “self-fertile” in the actual sense of the term).

thanks you for the reply! White Pakistan would be Morus Alba. Love white pakistan! Got my hands on a tray of Morus Serrata- curious how it will do and the taste. Hoping its more sweet-tart vs. pakistan.
