Anyone know this plant?

From what my memory serves me correctly, this seed was from a cherry i ate a while ago but I not sure at this point. Anyone have an idea?

Welcome to the forum!

That does not look like a cherry to me. You’ll probably have to wait for more leaves for a good ID, but it’s giving me oak vibes. Is there an oak nearby? Could a squirrel have planted an acorn in the pot?

Seconded. While hard to tell for sure, it looks quite like an oak.

You guys are very wise , i just came to think that there’s an acorn tree and squirrels around. Thank you both

Thank you, I fancy to be a part of the family :+1:

@warmbreakfast welcome to Growing Fruit.
That small of a seedling would likely still have the “seed” attached to it below the dirt surface, you could gently move away a little dirt to see it and it would help identify the tree.
