Who else growing this scab resistant apple developed at Cornell? Pomiferous lists it was cross between Spartan and NY 55140-9(sister to liberty). Nice crisp white flesh with a sweet balanced flavor. I’m guessing it was never released because it doesn’t seem to keep for too long.I acquired the variety from Singing Tree as Natalie. @nfahey123 helped me identify it as NY 65707-19
How early in the season does in ripen?

Fruit Advisor says it ripens in Early October in New England. So Mike sounds spot on with his estimate further south. Says it is an outstanding looking fruit cleaned up for market. Here is a pic from Fruit Advisor showing the cleaned up fruit:
Says it has a mild flavor on the UVM site on SRB apple listings.
We just harvest them here but harvest dates are way off this year. @dannytoro1 can you post the links you referenced? I was not able to find much information.
And the UVM page; a great resource.
I cast shade on Fruit Advisor’s assessment of flavor. Pages like that get high ended on taste, Mild has it’s own virtue for many people. Some folks love apples but can not handle high acid. Natalie would be perfect for them.
Thanks. I will take a look at the sites as I research varieties. I think it’s great for backyard or local market. They all seem to ripen at once which makes harvest simple. It’s certainly not a bland Ben Davis type flavor.
