Wow, you’re right. We have been eating these late picked tomatoes for awhile now and looks like they will last past Thanksgiving. My assessment is that they are as good or better than store bought but not quite as good as summer picked ones. Thanks for the great advice to pick before the freeze and ripen inside.


Same here, Picked these San Marzano on October 29th and another batch a week later. They are ripening in the garage, Ripe ones are getting used or being thrown in to the freezer. So glad I picked as the frost killed all tomatoe plants few days later.
