I planted a couple of Black Velvet Apricot seeds, and only one germinated. The leaves resemble more like an apricot than a plum, so the possible pollen parent is an apricot.

Black Velvet Apricot parentage is Black Amber plum, seed parent, x unknown apricot, pollen parent.

I bought some at Costco last week. Iā€™m eating one now. They taste like a bland plum. Hope your seedling are better.
